Team Shred Day: A Damn Good Time
Had you stopped by POW Gloves last Monday, you’d have found a strangely vacant office. That’s because we were up at Alpental for some team building and to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and the resort’s last day of the Winter ‘13-’14 season.
Although it was pissing rain and the snow was sticky, our crew made the best of it. We set up a couple tents, fired up the BBQ, and brought out the coolers stocked full of frothy beverages. Though we are true powder hounds, our world of manufacturing bombproof gloves keeps us busy throughout the winter season. This was a special chance for us to get out and ride together, high fives a-flying, with spirits running high all day. In the end, it was a damn good time.
After taking a few laps, a couple of us snuck into the trees just above the parking lot and built a nice little kicker. As expected, the entire crew ended up gravitating to it and we spent the rest of the afternoon cheering each other on, pushing everyone to go bigger and bigger. Highlights of the day were: “The double-nut grab”
